About Eric
Dr. Eric Bean is a high performance and leadership consultant. Through both one-on-one, group training, and keynotes Eric has worked with Army Special Forces, Navy SEALs, surgeons, business professionals, and athletes on the psychology of high performance, leadership development, culture, and team dynamics. While working with the Army, Eric led a small team to create and implement the first mental training curriculum for surgeons and emergency physicians at Madigan Army Medical Center.
Dr. Bean is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (AASP) and works with individuals and teams to strengthen their ability to lead others, maximize team functioning, perform at an elite level under high-pressure conditions, and maintain consistency despite changing circumstances. Eric earned both a Masters and Doctorate in Sport and Exercise Psychology and is a published, peer-reviewed author.
Dr. Bean lives in San Diego with his wife, two young sons, and two dogs.

Education
Eric received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern California, his Master’s of Science in Sport Psychology from Cal State Fullerton, and his Ph.D. from Michigan State University in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
